About The Chalet

Situated in 1500m² of private grounds, The White Place sits on the edge of the woods just outside Chamonix, between town itself and the village of Les Praz. Originally the site of a chapel built in the 1800’s, the stone arches of the foundations are still visible today. The chalet has been recently refurbished, fitted and finished to the highest of standards.

There are five large ensuite rooms, two with baths, all tastefully presented and individually crafted using the finest of materials. Some rooms also have doors opening onto the balcony with breath-taking views of the surrounding mountains.

Downstairs the capacious living and dining room with subtle lighting and log-burning fire offers unprecedented views of Mont Blanc and the North side of the valley through the picture windows and also gives access to the middle-floor balconies.

On the ground floor is the fifth bedroom with French doors leading outside, the heated ski / boot room and the ski entrance.

The spacious deck, accessible from the middle floor, is home to our eight-man cedar hot tub, positioned to make the most of the truly stunning views of the surrounding mountains. There is no better way to wind down after a great day on the slopes (or after shopping!) than to lay back and enjoy a long hot soak, then slip into one of our sumptuous bathrobes and contemplate your next move.
